Mily is an award-winning filmmaker from San Diego, California, who is passionate about sharing stories that connect people and communities. She is currently in pre-production for her latest short film, Anchor.

NBC interviewed her, gaining insight into what it’s like being a teen director in a pandemic-shaped world. She’s spoken as a panelist at the Youth Diversity Film Festival (twice), Poly Film Festival, and Open Mind Film Festival at UCLA.

A compliment to her professional work, her online presence includes being chosen to be in VSCO’s collection numerous times. She was also featured in their Black Joy Matters campaign, showcasing and celebrating Black joy and the Black diaspora.
